He is a seasoned psychologist with extensive experience in behavioral medicine, rehabilitation psychology, and integrated primary care within hospital systems. This background gives him a deep understanding of the connection between mental and physical health, as well as experience treating complex, real-world clinical presentations.
Dr. Morales provides evidence-based treatment for mood and depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD and trauma-related conditions, identity concerns, and related mental health challenges. His work is grounded in empirically supported approaches, particularly cognitive behavioral therapies, while remaining flexible and responsive to each client’s needs.
In addition to his hospital-based work, Dr. Morales served as Director of Psychology for a CARF-accredited rehabilitation program, where he oversaw clinical services and ensured high standards of care. Throughout his career in institutional settings, he has consistently maintained a private practice — reflecting his long-standing commitment to direct patient care.
He has a particular interest in working with individuals recovering from religious trauma, moral injury, and high-control environments.
